Docker - show CPU and memory usage of containers

In this short article, we would like to show you how to display CPU and memory usage of docker containers.

1. Show stats for all docker containers

We can see CPU / memory usage and limits for all docker containers.

$ docker stats

CONTAINER ID        NAME                                    CPU %               MEM USAGE / LIMIT     MEM %               NET I/O             BLOCK I/O           PIDS

2. Show stats for docker containers by container name

We can see CPU / memory usage and limits only for specified docker containers.

$ docker stats awesome_brattain foobar
