In this article, we would like to show you how to reverse the ArrayList in Java.

Quick solution:

Collections.reverse(myArrayList);

Practical example

In this example we use Collections.reverse() to reverse the numbers ArrayList.

import java.util.*;

public class Example {

    public static void main(String[] args) {
        List<Integer> numbers = new ArrayList<>();

        // add items to the ArrayList
        numbers.add(1);
        numbers.add(2);
        numbers.add(3);

        // reverse ArrayList
        Collections.reverse(numbers);

        System.out.println(numbers);
    }
}

Output:
