Medium - how to highlight code

In this article, we would like to show you how to highlight code on Medium website.

To highlight your code on Medium you need to:

1. Go to the GitHub Gist and create a new gist,
2. Specify the gist file name and extension (file extension enables syntax highlighting - in this example JavaScript highlighting for App.js),
3. In the bottom right corner select "Create public gist",
4. In the upper right corner, change "Embed" to "Share",
5. Copy the share link,
6. Paste the link in your post at medium.com and press enter.
