C# / .NET - get current thread name

In C# / .NET it is possible to get current thread name in following way.

Thread.Name property example

using System;
using System.Threading;

public static class Program
{
	private static void Execute()
	{
		string name = Thread.CurrentThread.Name;

		Console.WriteLine("Current thread name is " + name);
	}

	public static void Main(string[] args)
	{
		Thread thread = new Thread(Execute);

		thread.Name = "MyThread";
		thread.Start();
	}
}

Output:

Current thread name is MyThread
