I installed the package with npm via npm install, how to uninstall it now?

Use npm uninstall <package_name> from the project root folder.

You can also run this with different flags: 

  1. npm uninstall -S <package_name> - removes the package from dependencies in package.json.
  2. npm uninstall -D <package_name> - also removes the package from devDependencies in package.json.
  3. npm uninstall -g <package_name> - removes package globally
