How to install java JDK on Debian 9?

I don't like to download JDK with wget, I'd like to install it with package manager if it is possible.

Quick solution to install java on Debian 9:

1. Update the package:

sudo apt update

2. Command to install OpenJDK:

sudo apt install default-jdk

3. Verify if java is installed:

java -version
